about us
The Eureka Project was established in 2000 by its directors, Tony Cutcliffe and Karen Scholey.
In establishing Eureka they found that having completely different skills and personalities provided an advantage in conducting their business. With views sometimes at completely opposite ends of the scale they developed reasoning techniques which allowed each of them to value and respect the other's opinion: even if they didn't agree with it.
Tony's larger than life persona is balanced by Karen's analytical approach, the results of which provide daring concepts with ambitious visions, backed by thorough research and a strategic, methodical tactic.
Tony Cutcliffe thinks differently. He has the ability to discover opportunities in the most unlikely places and then turn them into reality. He understands what makes people tick and how to get the best from them. He's a straight shooter, so not always popular, but he believes that clients want results, not flattery.
His knowledge base is built on an extensive community and corporate conversation and avid exploration of the research in social psychology, collaboration and deep drilling of information.
He specializes in collaborative development tuition, workshop facilitation and strategic planning. Tony is Eureka's spokesperson and enjoys making occasional contributions to the op-ed pages of the metropolitan press.
He has a Masters in Commercial Law from the University of Melbourne and is a Justice of the Peace for Victoria. In his former lives Tony was an executive in association and commercial management.
Tony can be contacted on 0427 535 777.
Karen Scholey makes things happen. She manages the workflows behind Eureka's activities so we deliver what we promised, when we promised it.
She specializes in project management and thrives on the complex challenges and expectations which Eureka's clients demand.
An astute strategic thinker with highly developed observational skills she is able to define and analyse risks and uncertainties within the projects and provide reality checks whilst keeping multiple projects to schedule.
Karen also manages Eureka's client contract and associated transactions. She manages Eureka's operational and business affairs.
Before Eureka, Karen worked at executive level in the professional association sector.
Karen can be contacted on 0418 537 711.
